We are partnering with a prestigious global technology consultancy, delivering major transformation programmes across the London Market insurance sector. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Testing Lead to drive quality assurance and testing governance across complex Rulebook implementations. This is a highly visible role working closely with underwriting, actuarial, product, and technology teams to ensure insurance products are accurately configured, tested, and released into production.
The Role

Lead end-to-end testing activities for Rulebook-based insurance product implementations and enhancements

Define testing strategies, plans, governance frameworks, and release readiness processes

Validate pricing models, rating calculations, underwriting rules, referral logic, and product workflows

Manage functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing activities

Partner with business stakeholders to ensure solutions accurately reflect agreed product and pricing requirements

Drive defect management, root cause analysis, and quality improvements across the delivery lifecycle

Coordinate testing across multiple systems, integrations, and downstream platforms

Provide clear reporting on testing progress, risks, and release readiness to senior stakeholders
About You
-
c9+ years' experience in software testing with Verisk / Sequel Rulebook - essential

Testing experience should include insurance platforms, product, configuration, rating engines and business processes (rules engines, policy administration systems)

3+ yrs leading testing teams within specialty Insurance

Experience with Excel based pricing model migration, test design and planning and reporting

XML & SQL essential
