Job Title: Solutions Architect – Reinsurance

We are partnering with a fast-growing Insurance Technology solutions provider to appoint a highly skilled Solutions Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics, Property & Casualty Insurance, and reinsurance processes. This is a senior, business-critical position, working closely with the Group Head to shape and deliver cutting-edge solutions that will have a global impact.
In this role, you will be the strategic bridge between client business and technology, ensuring that Microsoft Dynamics platforms are architected and configured to maximise business value across multiple international markets. You’ll play a key role in major transformation initiatives, driving innovation in underwriting, claims, and reinsurance operations. You will be responsible for defining the CRM Architecture including design of a tailored framework for partner management, including key capabilities, data models, and governance processes that align with the client’s business goals. You will also be responsible for orchestrating the architecture roll-out covering the integration of business, data, and technical components, ensuring incremental standardization and efficient interfaces (e.g., one-way or two-way data flows).
Key Responsibilities
· Lead the architectural design and integration of Microsoft Dynamics solutions for global reinsurance operations within PC Insurance.
· Partner with senior stakeholders, including the Group Head, to align IT strategy with business goals.
· Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and optimised for complex, multi-territory insurance environments.
· Oversee the build of a key data glossary and end-to-end solution delivery, from concept through implementation and post-go-live optimisation.
· Act as a subject matter expert, advising on best practices and emerging technologies in Dynamics and reinsurance systems.
· Collaborate with global teams, vendors, and partners to ensure seamless integration with core insurance and reinsurance platforms.
Experience & Skills Required
1. P&C Insurance Domain Expertise
o 5-10 years of experience in P&C insurance / reinsurance
o Proven ability to translate P&C business needs (e.g., partner management, customer information management) into actionable architectures
2. Business Architecture
o Expertise in defining business architectures, including capability mapping, process modelling, and governance frameworks for enterprise-level projects
o Experience designing data models, hierarchies, and business processes for CRM or partner management initiatives
3. Techno-Functional Capabilities
o Familiarity with CRM platforms (Dynamics 365) and Master Data Management (MDM) tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend)
o Understanding of system integration concepts (e.g., APIs, one-way/two-way data flows, data pipelines) to bridge business and technical requirements.
o Knowledge of data governance and standardization strategies for incremental implementation
4. Stakeholder Influence and Orchestration
o Strong skills in engaging and aligning diverse stakeholders (business leads, IT teams, data teams) in a decentralized organization.
o Ability to drive projects from within, influence outcomes, and navigate organisational complexities
5. Thought Leadership
o Ability to provide reinsurance business-specific insights and external perspectives to validate and refine approaches.
o Familiarity with industry best practices in insurance transformation and partner management
In Summary:
· Ideally 10 + years as a Solutions Architect specialising in Microsoft Dynamics.
· In-depth knowledge of P&C insurance and reinsurance business models, ideally gained in a global environment.
· Strong understanding of the full solution lifecycle – architecture, design, configuration, integration, and support.
· Ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders at group level.
· Experience working on large-scale transformation projects within complex, regulated industries.
· Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
