Senior Product Manager - Insurtech
Salary to £90k
Remote/UK Based (few office/team days per month)
We are sourcing exceptional candidates for a global, high growth Insurtech to recruit an experienced Senior Product Manager to take responsibility for their Insurance platform. You’ll be working on re-inventing insurance technology in new regions and markets, with exciting plans to expand current product offerings and enhancements into new European countries.
Responsibilities
- Ownership of core insurance platform, innovating foundational systems that power all products, partners, and markets across US and EU markets
- Lead platform roadmap with a long-term view, balancing immediate delivery needs with speed and flexibility for the entire business
- Lead expansion into new territories, driving capabilities to support new regions and ensuring compliance and standardisation of platform functionality
- Identify and develop tooling and capabilities internally for stakeholders, that drive efficiency and scalability
- Translate complex, global requirements to provide a seamless sequenced experience across products and geographies
- Partner deeply with Engineering to shape system design and APIs
- Act as the primary link between platform and wider business teams
Requirements
- Proven success in Product Manager role within an Insurtech, or Fintech (with Insurance clients) - essential
- Proven ability to build, innovate and scale platform products, with a strong focus toward execution and ownership
- Ability to engage confidently with engineers, data, finance and insurance teams on process, architectural decisions, data models, and commercial decisions
- Ownership mindset - driving long-term successful outcomes
- Experience supporting multi-country or multi-market platforms (highly desirable)
- Start up experience also advantageous- please highlight on your CV
- Experience owning internal tools or operational platforms that have clearly improved internal productivity
