Product Delivery Manager – AI Insurtech
Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 + benefits
Location: Remote, UK-based
We're recruiting a Product Delivery Manager for a prestigious global Insurtech business investing in exciting new AI product capabilities focused towards commercial and personal lines. This role would suit an experienced insurance technology professional who can take ownership of product delivery from requirements through to release, work effectively across Product and Engineering, and support the development of a small team. You'll lead your own product initiatives, take responsibility for key workstreams within larger programmes, and work closely with senior colleagues to improve delivery processes and make effective use of AI-enabled tools. It's a hands-on role with a combination of delivery ownership, stakeholder management and people development. You'll join a global Insurtech investing heavily in product capabilities, with the opportunity to take ownership of meaningful delivery initiatives, contribute to larger programmes and develop your leadership experience. Responsibilities
- You'll be responsible for the successful delivery of AI product initiatives, balancing scope, timescales, quality and stakeholder expectations
- You'll also support on larger programmes, coordinating dependencies and ensuring your workstreams remain on track
- Alongside delivery, you'll line manage and develop a small team, helping colleagues build their capabilities and improve the way they work
- Own product initiatives from requirements and planning through to testing, deployment and release
- Work closely with Product and Engineering to turn requirements into deliverable outcomes
- Manage key workstreams within larger programmes, coordinating cross-functional teams and dependencies
- Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement and retrospectives
- Coordinate UAT, release readiness, CAB processes and production deployments
- Communicate progress, risks, delivery performance and commercial considerations to stakeholders
- Line manage, mentor and develop a small team, supporting performance and career progression
- Identify practical improvements to delivery processes, planning and operational efficiency
- Explore and promote the effective use of AI-enabled tools across product delivery and software development workflows
Requirements
- c5 years' experience delivering Insurance SaaS or PaaS products within Commercial or Personal Lines - essential
- Experience managing product delivery from requirements through to release, with a good understanding of Agile, software development lifecycles and release management
- Confident managing workstreams, dependencies and stakeholders, with an understanding of delivery performance and commercial considerations
- Experience mentoring or developing a team or colleagues (Product Owners/Managers)
- Recent exposure to AI-enabled insurance products
- A clear communicator with a pragmatic approach, comfortable working independently and collaboratively across Product and Engineering
- Candidates based north of M4 in England would be ideal for regular meetings
