Lead Product Manager – Insurtech
Salary: to £115k
Remote / UK Based (regular team days each month)
We are sourcing exceptional candidates for a high-growth, personal lines Insurtech operating at the intersection of insurance and platform technology. This is an opportunity for an experienced Lead Product Manager to take ownership of a global insurance platform, supporting rapid expansion across multiple international markets. You’ll play a critical role in building and evolving the foundational systems that power complex, regulated products, working closely with engineering and senior stakeholders to enable scale, speed, and long-term growth across the US and Europe.
Responsibilities
- Ownership of core insurance platform, including key services such as quoting, rating, billing, and policy
- Lead platform roadmap with a long-term, strategic view, balancing immediate delivery with foundational investment
- Drive platform expansion into new international markets, ensuring regulatory compliance and standardisation
- Identify, design, and deliver internal tooling and capabilities that improve efficiency and scalability
- Translate complex, global requirements into clear, sequenced initiatives across products and geographies
- Partner closely with engineering on system design, APIs, and technical trade-offs
- Act as primary interface between the platform and wider business functions
Requirements
- Proven experience owning and scaling backend or platform products in a high-growth environment
- Strong background within Insurtech
- Ability to engage confidently with engineers, data, finance, and insurance stakeholders on architecture, data models, and commercial decisions
- Strong ownership mindset, with accountability for long-term outcomes
- Experience supporting multi-country or multi-market platforms (highly desirable)
- Startup or scale-up experience advantageous – please highlight on your CV
