Customer Success Manager – Specialty Insurance Markets (Insurtech)

The Opportunity
As Customer Success Manager, you will own and develop strategic client relationships, acting as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders across Specialty insurers and market participants. Your focus will be on driving adoption, expanding platform value, and identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts — while working closely with Product, Sales and Operations to ensure a seamless client experience.
This is not a reactive support role. It’s a commercial, consultative Customer Success position where understanding client challenges, insurance workflows and market dynamics is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Build deep, trusted relationships with clients across Specialty Insurance markets
- Understand clients’ operational and commercial challenges and identify where greater platform value can be delivered
- Own account management execution and ongoing client success plans
- Identify and lead growth and expansion opportunities within existing clients
- Keep clients engaged and informed on product and proposition developments
- Partner closely with Product to feed client insight into platform evolution
- Collaborate with Sales and Operations to ensure effective onboarding, handover and ongoing success
- Contribute to the development of scalable Customer Success and account growth processes
Key Requirements
- Minimum 2 years Customer Success experience within an Insurtech platform environment
- Experience gained within commercial and specialty insurance operations
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management and project coordination skills
- Confidence engaging with senior insurance stakeholders
Highly Desirable
- Previous Broker experience - particularly exposure to Specialty or complex commercial risks
- Experience working in a start-up or scale-up environment
