A Corporate Finance role with a difference! We are looking for a Commercial Executive to join an impressive award-winning Corporate Finance Client in the Berkshire area (hybrid basis). This is a newly created role, joining a dedicated Business Growth team, created to guide company owners on their journey towards a potential sale, often over a 2–3-year period. You will play a pivotal role in analysis and valuation, whilst helping them build value within the business. This role will bring together your transaction specialism, strong financial grounding, analysis expertise, and commercial insight and offers excellent prospects for career growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management: Assisting Directors in maintaining close relationships with clients throughout their pre-sale journey, ensuring continuous alignment with their objectives and the market environment

Data Analysis & Interpretation: Valuations, operational performance metrics, and market trends to identify key drivers of value within client businesses

Guiding business owners - Assisting with steps required to increase business value and readiness for market

Change Management: Assisting Directors with clients navigating organisational change, ensuring they are strategically positioned for growth or sale while mitigating risk

Commercial Fundraising: Support other clients in preparing for and securing commercial fundraising, leveraging financial insights and market understanding to attract investors

Financials: Using financial data to help sellers make informed decisions

Value Assessment :Secure VA projects, provide reports and maintain an accurate database of client information for VA reports

Business Growth: Assisting with a portfolio of Business Growth clients on the path toward transactions

Origination: Collaborating with Directors in acquiring appropriate clients
Requirements:

Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) or Part Qualified ACCA
-
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
-
Corporate Finance/ M&A/ Transactions experience

Commercial focus and strong interpersonal skills

Able to interpret company accounts and other complex financial information

Background in data analysis and interpretation, with the ability to extract insights and identify key value drivers

Must live within easy reach of Berkshire for on-site days and have license and own transport
