Client Account Director - Insurtech
Location: Remote (UK)
Salary: to £140k + bonus
We’re partnering with a high-growth Insurtech with a cutting-edge Agentic AI offering to completely transform Insurance workflows. Following impressive success in the UK market, they are looking to hire an experienced Senior Account Manager to take ownership of an assigned portfolio of UK insurance clients. This role will suit a commercially minded relationship leader who thrives on managing high value enterprise accounts, building long-term partnerships and driving growth.
The Role
- Manage and develop a portfolio of insurance clients across the UK
- Build strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Drive account growth through strategic planning, renewals, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities
- Lead client governance, service reviews, and executive-level engagement
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and client success
- UK travel (40–50%) to maintain strong client relationships
About You
- c10+ years’ experience with a focus on technology transformation within commercial and specialty Insurance

Established success in Insurance account management, client leadership and strategic relationship management

Critical thinking and presentation skills, with the ability to handle complex scenarios in Insurance

Experience working with Enterprise level solutions
- Proven ability to manage multiple large accounts simultaneously
- Commercially driven, with a track record of growing revenue within existing clients
- Confident and credible consultative approach in engaging with senior stakeholders
