We’re partnered with an exciting startup in the Insurance Technology sector, seeking a capable and driven Business Development Consultant to join their expanding sales team. This role is centred on strategic new business development - identifying opportunities, shaping tailored solutions, and driving sustainable revenue growth. The successful candidate will be a commercially astute, relationship-led professional with a proven ability to engage senior stakeholders, influence outcomes, and deliver results in a dynamic, high-performing environment. An ideal candidate could already be over-achieving against sales target in their current new business Insurtech role, but perhaps be frustrated by a capped Ote, or wanting to work for a more dynamic high-growth start-up with a great tech product, where individual sales success will be highly valued and rewarded.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities with target Specialty Insurance Clients

Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients

Develop strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets

Collaborate with internal teams to deliver bespoke solutions and exceptional client service

Represent the brand at industry events and networking opportunities
Requirements:

Exceptional success in a new business SaaS Insurance sales role

Strong commercial awareness and consultative selling style

Able to work in Central London three days per week
