Key Responsibilities
- Support business analysis across new product development initiatives
- Own and manage product backlogs alongside Product Management and Senior Business Analysts
- Gather, analyse and document complex business requirements
- Produce high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria
- Work closely with Engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle
- Challenge assumptions and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Build trusted relationships with both technical and commercial stakeholders
- Help shape the future direction of an innovative AI platform
About You
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within an Insurance team environment (3+ years post degree)
- Experience working with B2B software products serving Commercial or Specialty Insurance markets
- Platform focused experience ideal (rather SaaS commercial revenue focused)
- Strong backlog management and Agile delivery experience
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
- The confidence to communicate effectively and a proactive approach
- The ability to use your own initiative, with excellent self-management skills
- Exposure working successfully within a remote-first environment
- A strong academic or technical degree (2.1 min)
- A passion for AI products and processes
- Experience within Cyber Insurance, Directors’ & Officers’ (D&O) or Accident & Health (A&H) products could be useful but not essential.
